I have become well known for photographing amazing places, epic landscapes, motorcycles and cars, and fascinating people.
But it’s less well known where I got my start.
It all began with my parents. They were world travelers, as evidenced by the fact that I was born in Morocco. We moved many times when I was young, and it engendered in me a love of travel and new places. Since then, I’ve been an explorer. I have a very interesting passport with some amazing stamps.
When I was 9 years old I got my first camera, the classic little black Kodak Brownie. A small cube of wonder, it gave me my first insight into the power of photography. The moments I captured with that little box linger with me still.
Even though my equipment has changed a lot since then, my sense of wonder remains.
Whether on location or in the studio, I’m always experimenting with light, composition, and action, to create compelling images.
I have had the good fortune to work with some great art directors, designers, and clients. I’ve traveled the world to shoot for Harley-Davidson, Lexus, Honda, Toyota, Yamaha, Bank of America, ADP, Zeiss, Taylor Guitars and many others. My images have been featured in Communication Arts magazine, Archive, Photo District News, Print, Graphis, GraphisPhoto, The One Show, and many other award shows.
With Carmichael Lynch Advertising and Harley-Davidson, we also won the Kelly Award.
I live and work from my home base of San Diego, California, which is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
